Level 4

Level 4 is the second competitive level of rhythmic gymnastics. To advance to Level 4, gymnasts must successfully perform the skills and apparatus requirements from Level 3. Participation in local, state, regional and possibly national competitions starts here.

  • Routines

    Gymnasts compete a group synchronized floor routine and three individual routines, which are compulsory by club. In 2025-2028, gymnasts compete in floor, rope and hoop, performing in pairs on a half carpet.

  • Competitions

    Level 4 involves about 5 individual invitationals, state and regional championships, along with group invitationals and championships, potentially leading to nationals if qualified.
